1. The theme of this contest is "Ancient Moe Rescue Trip" (Hint: You can read Arcade-Chan Main Story Saga.1 Vol.Final Chapter 4 to confirm the theme background setting).
  2. Each contestant can submit a single/multiple difficulty chart(s) for one song as an individual; if participating as a team, each team can submit up to three song charts.
  3. Each contestant can only join one team at a time.
  4. The song of the chart should be relevant or closely related to the theme; charts related to content that violates well-established social norms are not allowed; when submitting the chart, the contestant should also explain why this chart fits the theme of this ACFC. If the relevance is weak or the reason is not stated, this chart will be ignored.
  5. The selected song length should be between 1:20 and 3:30.
  6. Available difficulties: Past, Present, Future, Eternal, and Beyond; if submitting charts for Past and/or Present, the reason for submitting these lower difficulty charts needs to be explained (e.g., to facilitate new players).
  7. Each submitted chart pack needs to include at least one chart of Future/Eternal/Beyond difficulty (all type sides Light/Conflict/Colorless/Lephon are open this time, but please ensure that the song theme matches the chosen type side).
  8. Each submitted chart pack needs to include at least one chart with an official rating of Future 7+ or above.
  9. The difficulty of each chart cannot exceed the equivalent difficulty of official rating Future 12.
  10. Charts should be "two-finger" friendly (not limited to thumb-friendly, but should be playable using auxiliary fingers for thumb players); multi-finger configurations should be appropriately avoided (i.e., not primarily multi-finger, such as Designant. [Beyond] and Undying Macula [Eternal] are not primarily multi-finger).
  11. Camera statements (except for enwidencamera type scenecontrol statements) and timing groups with anglex/angley parameters cannot appear in the chart.
  12. Variant Length ArcTaps (i.e., color=3 sustained 0ms arcs used in Arcaea v5.5.6 HIVEMIND INTERLINKED and v6.3.3/5 Live Faster Die Younger), Designant.'s special Arc/ArcTap (red arcs and red ArcTaps appearing in the Lament Rain and Designant. Anomaly Challenge in Arcaea v6.0.0), and arcs with smoothness parameters (newly added in Arcaea v6.8.0) cannot appear in the chart.
  13. If color=2 green Arcs or ground notes (Tap/Hold) with floating-point tracks are used in the chart, they can only be used for decorative purposes (noinput).
  14. Unlimited use of color=3 gray Arcs with duration above 0ms and ArcTaps with sfx (hitsound) is allowed in the chart, but the maximum number of sfx ArcTaps in a single chart is 64; exceeding this will be considered an invalid chart and discarded.
  15. The function of sfx ArcTaps must be strongly related to the song. Using unrelated sfx ArcTaps (including for so-called "fun" purposes) may lead to disqualification.
  16. Statements with Special effects provided by Arcade-Chan cannot appear in the chart.
  17. arcahv prefixed scenecontrol statements and redline type scenecontrol statements cannot appear in the chart.
  18. Charts should be saved as .acba binary chart files using Arcade-Chan's "Save as Binary Chart" function (not .aff text chart files). The default shortcut key is Ctrl+Shift+S. Please do not use any RSA key encryption for the chart, otherwise it will be considered an invalid chart and discarded.
  19. Each submitted chart project (chart pack) needs to be packaged as a .zip, .7z, .tar.gz, or .tar.xz archive, containing the following files:

    • base.ogg: The audio file used for chart creation.
    • base.jpg: The cover image of the song. (High-definition version 1080_base.jpg is also acceptable)
    • base_256.jpg: The small cover image of the song, with a resolution of 256x256. (High-definition version 1080_base_256.jpg is also acceptable, with a resolution of 384x384)
    • *.acba: The chart file of the song. There can be multiple files. The names correspond to multiple difficulties: 0=Past, 1=Present, 2=Future, 3=Beyond, 4=Eternal.
    • Arcade [folder]

      • Project.arcade: The Arcade-Chan project file of the chart, which should contain valid Arcade-Chan project information.
    • songlist.json: Information about the song and chart, saved in the songlist format of Arcaea main body. (Should contain the songs array)
  20. If at least one chart in the chart pack contains ArcTaps with sfx (hitsound), the root directory of the chart pack must have the corresponding WAV audio files with correct names.
  21. If the chart pack contains a custom play background, the root directory of the chart pack must have the corresponding JPG background file with the correct name and resolution.
  22. If the chart pack contains BGA, the root directory of the chart pack must have the corresponding MP4 background BGA file named bga.mp4 (only H.264 or H.265(HEVC) formats are supported).
  23. If the chart pack contains the Anomaly Challenge settings of Axiom of the End from the Final Verdict pack and the same as Undying Macula in Arcaea original game, the root directory of the chart pack must have the corresponding video_pv.mp4 and video_audio.ogg, and the UI entry delay time setting must be configured in the Arcade-Chan project file (after entering the Axiom of the End Anomaly Challenge in Arcade-Chan, click the settings button in the upper right corner to set) (only H.264 or H.265(HEVC) formats are supported).
  24. The following styles of songs are not allowed in this contest:

    • Harsh Noise
    • Extratone (But regular Speedcore is allowed)
  25. Songs that have already been included by Arcaea official are not allowed.
  26. Contestants should adhere to the principle of confidentiality during the contest.
  27. If a contestant exhibits any of the following behaviors during the contest, they will be directly disqualified and will not be allowed to participate in other ACFC contests (for up to two years):

    • Personal attacks on anyone other than themselves
    • Publishing false statements or maliciously smearing others
    • Charts (including chart preview videos) being leaked before the final results are announced and confirmed to be leaked by the chart author or related persons
    • Other behaviors that violate well-established social norms or laws
  28. If any situations arise during the contest that are not covered by the above rules, the ACFC Affairs Group will make judgments and give handling results.
  29. After the contest, the non-selected chart packs will be kept by the corresponding contestants; the selected chart packs will be saved as exclusive projects for Arcade-Chan, and if a chart leak occurs, it will be handled according to Article 27.
  30. Each chart has a maximum score of 30 points, evaluated from four dimensions: sound sampling, visual experience, playability, and others. Only charts with a total score of 24 points or above will be selected.
  31. The top three authors with the highest scores in the final results (if participating as a team, the highest-scoring member of the team will be selected) will receive a reward of $10 (CNY 75) (if participating as a team, the team leader will receive it on behalf of the team).
  32. The chart submission channel opens from Dec 31, 2025 at 09:00 UTC (04:00 EST) to Feb 5, 2026 at 09:00 UTC (04:00 EST).
  33. Judging starts from Feb 5, 2026 at 09:00 UTC (04:00 EST).
  34. The final results will be announced no later than Feb 10, 2026.
  35. Winning works will be added to Arcade-Chan story performances, internal projects, and/or included in Team G.J.C. member fanmade projects in the future. Please pay attention to subsequent announcements for details.
